About the Program
Each year, Brookline High School welcomes approximately 70 new international students from around the world. Some students attend Brookline High School temporarily, while others plan to live in the United States permanently.
Most international students complete an English language assessment during registration. Brookline High School offers a successful English Language Education (ELE) Program for students who require language support services.
Please note: Brookline High School no longer issues I-20 forms for attendance.
The Role of the International Student Advisor
The International Student Advisor works closely with international students and families as they transition to living and studying in Brookline.
The advisor serves as both an advocate and a resource by:
- Helping families access school services and resources
- Planning social and community-building activities
- Supporting students in need
- Advising students and families
- Assisting with course selection and postsecondary planning
