Squash

Brookline High School Squash has been competing against public and private school teams throughout the Boston area since the 2015–16 season. The program welcomes student-athletes of all experience levels and provides opportunities for both competitive and developmental play.

Tryouts and Practices

Tryouts are typically held following the Thanksgiving break. The program fields boys and girls teams, with practices held at the Winsor School in Boston. Practice schedules and team assignments are communicated each season by the coaching staff.

Matches and Competition

Home matches are held at the Winsor School, and transportation is provided for most away competitions. The season culminates with local and regional tournaments, including opportunities to compete against schools throughout New England.

Resources and Equipment

New players are encouraged to learn the basic rules and strategies of squash before the season begins. Players are responsible for providing their own racquet, protective eyewear, and non-marking court shoes.

Additional instructional resources, clinics, and exhibition opportunities may be available throughout the season through local squash organizations and partner facilities.
