Sailing

Practice Location

Practices take place on the Brookline High School campus and at Jamaica Pond.

Our Program

Brookline High School Sailing is a coeducational dinghy sailing team. The team competes at a high level within both the league and the region and welcomes students interested in joining the program.

Team members compete in one- and two-person boats in both fleet racing and team racing events. Team racing typically requires six starters, while fleet racing generally requires four competitors.

The team is a member of the Massachusetts Bay League, the New England Schools Sailing Association (NESSA), and the Interscholastic Sailing Association (ISSA).

Due to equipment and facility limitations, team selections may be necessary. Decisions are based on demonstrated ability, sportsmanship, commitment, and readiness both on and off the water.
